Meet Nikki Dvorak Larsen
Nikki Dvorak, LAc, EAMP, LMT (she/her) has been dedicated to helping people find relief, healing, and balance since 2004, when she began her career in massage therapy and sports bodywork. Her passion for holistic well-being eventually led her to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, but it was through her own experiences with health challenges and emotional trauma that she discovered the profound impact of mindfulness and meditation.
Like many meaningful journeys, Nikki's path into mindfulness began with a need for healing herself. Seeking ways to navigate physical and emotional challenges, she turned toward mindfulness practice and found it to be both transformative and empowering. What began as a personal healing journey evolved into a deep commitment to study, practice, and training so that she could continue growing in her own practice while sharing these tools safely and skillfully with others.
Today, Nikki is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction(MBSR)Teacher, a Practicing Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and is trained in Trauma-Informed Mindfulness. Her teaching is grounded in the belief that every participant deserves to feel safe, welcome, respected, and emotionally supported. She understands firsthand that life can be challenging, and she creates learning environments where people can explore mindfulness and self-compassion at their own pace, with kindness toward themselves and their unique experiences.
Nikki offers Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Class Series, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Class Series, guided stand-alone meditation programs for all or for private groups, extended Meditation and Mindfulness Retreats, and other mindfulness-based practices designed to support all of you. She believes that cultivating presence, self-awareness, and compassion can be life-changing—helping individuals navigate stress, build resilience, heal from life's difficulties, and foster a deeper connection with themselves and others. New offerings are added regularly on our Book A Class page.
Beyond her clinical and teaching roles, Nikki maintains a personal mindfulness practice that includes daily meditation, reading, journaling, painting, and intentional movement. Her mission is to make mindfulness and self-compassion accessible to everyone, creating a ripple effect of healing, connection, and well-being in the communities she serves.
Although her Acupuncture practice is generally at capacity, she warmly welcomes anyone interested in mindfulness, meditation, MBSR, MSC, or other contemplative practices.
Nikki is based in Snohomish County, Washington, and Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. Through her online offerings, she is honored to support students wherever they may be.
